God Told Me to Tell You This

If you have ever sat down to create and felt a wave of doubt hit first, you are not alone. We talk to the part of the artist’s life that rarely makes it into a portfolio: the mental and spiritual pressure that tries to convince you you are behind, not enough, or destined to struggle. This is a direct reminder of identity in Christ for Christian artists who feel resistance on every side and need a clear, steady foundation again. 

We walk through what God says is true about you: redeemed, restored, reconciled, and fully loved without performing. We also tackle the practical fear hiding underneath so many creative blocks, provision. When you believe lies about your position with God or your ability to be provided for, you start creating from scarcity and survival mode. When you remember you are seated with Christ, you gain a different perspective, a calmer confidence, and the ability to move forward even when feelings argue back. 

We also zoom out to the bigger calling of faith and creativity. Your art is not a hobby or a small side thing. We name the ways artists are called to carry beauty, truth, goodness, wisdom, and peace into real places and real people, including the marketplace. Then we land on Romans 12:2 as the linchpin: renewing your mind is how you discern God’s will and step into your next assignment with clarity. We close with prayer for freedom from fear, anxiety, depression, deception, and the weight of trauma, plus an invitation to share what God is confirming in you.

Divine Appointment For Artists

God wants to encounter you in such a powerful way, then I believe you're here by divine appointment. I believe God's got your name on his heart, and he's wanting to remind you, even by the Spirit today, of who you are. Not long ago, I was spending some really deep time with the Lord, asking him about you, asking about all the people that watch this channel, all the artists all over the world who are on his heart and on my heart all the time. And I was asking the Lord in this place of prayer, God, what is it that's on your heart for these artists? What is it on your heart for this global army of artists that you're raising up all over the world? And he told me one thing that really just changed everything about the way I see this channel and the way I see what you're supposed to be doing in this world as an artist. And you know what he told me? He said, I want you to remind them of who they are. I don't know about you, but as an artist, my whole life, I've felt like the enemy is just at me at every corner. He's uh trying to, you know, infiltrate my mind. He's trying to, it feels like there's roadblocks at every turn. It feels like there's uh an enemy pushing against the very calling and the design that God's put on my life as an artist. And can I just tell you, uh, that is absolutely the case. The Bible says that the enemy, you know, runs around like a roaring lion. He's prowling around looking for those folks who he can take advantage of, looking for those artists who he can convince that they're not really who God says they are. And then listen, I've learned unless we know who we are in Christ, unless you know who God really says you are as an artist, it'll be really, really difficult. Let me just say this: impossible to really become the artist

Naming The Enemy’s Identity Lies

that God called you to be, because he'll use all the mirages in the world. He'll use your feelings, he'll use the trauma you've been through, he'll use family and friends and situations that don't make sense. He'll use all of that to weave a story and weave a perspective that says to you, somehow I'm not enough. Somehow I'm not the person that God created me, me to me to be. Somehow it's possible for everybody else, but it's not possible for me. And listen, I'm telling you today, God wants to encounter you in such a powerful way to remind you of who you are. And so as I was with the Lord, I literally I'm in my journal just about every day. I was I was praying and I was listening to his voice, and I was saying, Lord, what is it that you wanted me to communicate to artists to remind them who they are? And here's some of the things that he said. And I and I could I could read for days, but I just I just want to give you some of these things that came right out of his heart for you. He said, tell them that they've been saved and redeemed and reconciled and restored. Listen, God's, you're not having to perform for God anymore. You've been, by the blood of Jesus, fully redeemed, fully restored to relationship with him, reconciled to relationship with the Father. In other words, all the things that the enemy's been telling you all these years that are separating you from God, that's 100% a lie. In Christ, you've been reconciled fully with him. He said, You're enough and you're blessed and you're highly favored. Come on. The enemy wants to say, what? You don't have enough, you'll never have enough, you're not blessed, you're cursed, you're just an old starving artist, you barely get by, see things never work out for you. Uh uh. That's not who God says you are. It's not what his word says.

Redeemed And Restored In Christ

He says, you're fully equipped and abundantly provided for. I just thought it was so interesting as I started this with the Lord, and he just started speaking kind of stream of consciousness to me, how he started out with position and also provision. Position and provision. Because the enemy will always lie to you about those two things. Whose are you? Where are you? And what is it that you can do? Who's going to take care of you in your life? Right. And so the first two things I want you to get today. You are in Christ. You are seated with him in heavenly places. Nothing can separate you from his love in Christ Jesus. And second, the Lord says, you are abundantly provided for. I've got so many videos on this channel. I've got a whole series about God's promise to provide for artists. Not because we're special, not because we've done anything right, but because of God's goodness over our life and his intention, come on, his intention to make sure that you've got everything you need with plenty left over to do the things that he's called you to do as an artist. God just kept going on. He said, You're creative and you're full of the Spirit and you're able to prosper in every good work.

Position And Provision For Artists

You're not just filled with your own ideas. You've been created in the image of God. The very nature of God, because of the finished work of Jesus on the cross, is living inside of you. And the Lord wants you to know that today. He wants to remind you today that although the enemy may have told you you're alone, although the enemy may have said there's no plan for you, you've gone too far, you messed up too much, it's too late for you, all the stuff, God says no. You're creative. You've got, you are literally filled with the abundant creative nature of God in your life, sitting inside of you through the power of the kingdom and the power of the Holy Spirit that lives inside of you. You you can prosper in every good work. You're seated with him in heavenly places. You know, I love that. God's not trying to use, God's not trying to use a mindset that the enemy brings to you as the lens through which you're going to see yourself. He wants to remind you through his word today, you've been seated with Christ in heavenly places. Guess what? When you're seated with him, when you're seated with Christ, guess what? You see things from a different perspective. God's wanting to remind you today, you need to see things from his perspective. He's in, in fact, I'll say this. I believe the Lord is saying to you today, he wants to invite you to begin to lean in to learning to see things and hear things and feel things and understand things from his perspective, not your perspective. Number next, he says, you're an overcomer, you're more than a conqueror. Oh my gosh. The enemy wants to say, you'll never do it. You'll never be enough. It'll always be like this. You messed up too much. Nope, not in Christ. You're an overcomer, you're more than a conqueror. He says, You're a new creation. You're sons and daughters, you're the ecclesia walking in authority with supernatural abilities given by the Spirit of God. Woo! You're the ecclesia, the called-out ones, the ones called to rule and reign, to steward the gifts and the responsibilities and the blessings of God on the earth and his children. That's what we're called as. We're called as ambassadors to be able to carry the very light and life of God into the world in ways that other people are longing for. The Bible says that that all of creation is longing for the manifest sons

Authority And Calling As Ecclesia

and daughters to rise up, to stand up and be who God's really called you to be. And that's what, listen, he's reminding you of that today. You're not watching this video, listen to me. You're not watching this video just because you clicked on something. I believe you're here by divine appointment. I believe God's got your name on his heart, and he's wanting to remind you, even by the Spirit today, that you can do everything that God has ever put on your heart, not out of your own strength, but out of his strength moving through you. Wow, come on, what else? He said, uh, you're ministers of reconciliation, bringers of peace, voices of wisdom and truth, sent in power, uniquely created, atmosphere shifters, environment creators, door openers, revealers of beauty, truth, and goodness. Wow. Wow. Not only your art, but your life, and not only your life, but your art, that the things that you do, God wants to remind you, you're an intersection point where heaven meets earth, so that you're not only changed in the middle of making, in the middle of interacting with him and creating with him in your studio, but the things that you do would release his nature, his power, his transforming light and life so that the world would be able to encounter the living Christ, the living, loving, light-giving power of God in their life. That's what we do. I just believe by the Spirit, right now, God wants you to remind you your art, this creative nature that He's put inside you, this reflection of Him, is not just some hobby, is not just some little side thing you do. It is literally the design of God and the purpose of God for your life and through your life to experience and also to transmit, to share with, to be an intersection point for the very nature of God in the world. Listen, I again, I'm just I'm just reading right out of just the things the Lord just began to give me, just stream of consciousness. He says, You're no longer slaves to sin, you're no longer condemned. You're led by peace, you're favored, you're discerning, you're able to hear God's voice, able to prosper in every good work.

God's wanting to remind you over and over and over and over that life is different now in the kingdom. Life is different for you because you're his child. Life is different for you because you've submitted your life to the Lordship of Jesus. Life is different because the Holy Spirit is living inside of you and he's inviting you, I believe, prophetically by the Spirit today to step into by faith the thing that he has created you for before the very foundation of the world. Poema Purpose And Father’s Love

his poem, right? We're his poemma created for good works that God prepared for us. In other words, the art that you create, the ideas that you have, the things that are on your heart, these are not just whims and little things that are not to be taken seriously. These are the very burden and the heart of God born inside of you to be released through you in partnership with the Holy Spirit so that He can move in you and through you in the earth. He said, Wow, wow, listen. He said, You're a fiery torch, a prophetic revelation with clean hands and a pure heart. I was reminded as he told me that that's out of a word study that I did years ago out of a study of Bezalel in Exodus 31, when you look up uh the meaning of Bezalel and all the lineage that he came up. One of the things that the Lord showed me is that he was a fiery torch of prophetic revelation, of uh with clean hands and a pure heart. Listen, God's called you to burn. God's called your life and your art to burn for him to burn with his presence today. He says, He's called you as one who's deeply loved for who you are, not just for what you do. Listen, God wants to remind you today, he's the one that gave you the talent, but it's not about the talent. He's the one that gave you the eye and the heart for your art, but it's not about your eye and your perspective and your art. It's about him. It's about your love for him and his love for you beyond anything and before anything you would ever do for him. He loves you because he loves you. He loves you because he's good. He loves you because you're his child. He loves you because you're his highest and dearest and best creation. And the reason that he created you was for relationship first. God wants to remind you of that today. I listen, I break off in Jesus' name performance, performance and measuring up and not enoughness in Jesus' name right now. God is releasing a new revelation and a new impartation, a new experience with the Father's love over your life right now in Jesus' name. He said, You're created for good works, which I prepared for you in Christ Jesus. I could go on and on and on. But yet the Lord just reminded me of this, and I want to bring this in for a landing today and pray for you because he reminded me of this in Romans 12.2. Romans 12.2 is the is listen, is the linchpin of how we walk in everything that Jesus provided for us. And it says this don't conform to the pattern of this world, but be what? Be transformed by the renewing of your mind. In other words, unless you begin to see and hear and think and perceive and discern life and yourself and your calling and all that is before you through the lens of the kingdom, through the lens of God's word, as led by the Holy Spirit and allow that to transform you, listen, you'll miss, you'll miss everything that God's trying to bring you into. But it says, it says, if you'll, if you'll not conform, that

Renew Your Mind Romans 12:2

is, if you won't do life like everybody else is doing it, even your Christian friends, if you won't do life like everybody else is doing it, but you'll be transformed by the renewing of your mind, it says, then what? Then you'll know God's good and pleasing and perfect will for your life. You want to know the next step? You want to know the things that God has for you? You want to be led by the Spirit? Transform your mind. You want to walk in everything that God has for you? Renew your mind. You want to be able to walk in the power of God and see your art shift nations and cities and release healing and power and light and life in the lives of people, renew your mind. There is no outcome that you can be looking for in God's kingdom that does not come through the conduit of renewing your mind. Because without renewing our mind by the power of the Holy Spirit and by his word, we can't see and perceive and discern the things that God's trying to spring us into. Because we'll always come into agreement with the enemy in our circumstances and our feelings rather than the things that God is calling us into. And so, my friend, listen, I believe that you're here by divine appointment today. I believe that this is not just some other video that you're watching. I believe that this is a call to your heart to stand up and to be who God's called you to be and to be reminded of who you are and all that he has for you. And so listen, if this is resonating with you right now in your spirit, I just want to invite you to close your eyes right now and open your hands, just as a sign of openness to what God has for you right now, as I pray. Father, in Jesus' name, I thank you that you've brought my friend to this video right now, not because just by chance, not just to watch something. God, you've brought them here to wake them up. You brought them here to remind them again of who they are in you and all the good things that you have for them. And so, Father, right now in the name of Jesus, I break the power of deception. I break the power of deceit. I break the power of seduction. I break the power of trauma. I break the power of fear and anxiety. I break the power of depression over them in Jesus' name, and I lose freedom, freedom to hear again, to see again, to live again,

Prayer For Freedom And Clarity

to walk in the life again that you prepared for them before they were ever created. God, I thank you that every purpose and plan that's in their heart, God, is one that you put inside of them. It's not just their idea. Father, I bind the enemy over their life in Jesus' name. And I lose, God, the your power, your Holy Spirit. God, a fresh impartation of who you are and what you want to do inside of them. God, I pray today for extra clarity. I pray for a renewed sense of being able to see and hear and know by the Spirit of God through the power of the Holy Spirit and led by your word so that they would know the things that you have for them next. I bless them. Friend, open your eyes. Look at me. I bless you. I bless you in Jesus' name that you would live and prosper and know the goodness of God in the land of the living. I bless your spirit, I bless your hands, I bless your creative gift, that you might know the goodness and the fullness and the creative nature of God in overwhelming tidal waves in your life.
